Daniel LoPilato is a writer and researcher from Atlanta, GA. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida State University and a BA in English Literature from the University of Georgia. He was a 2023 grantee of the Upstate California Creative Corps. In 2022, he was awarded a Robert L. Platzman Memorial Fellowship by the University of Chicago's Special Collections Research Center. He has worked as an educator and administrator in higher education and for non-profit organizations. He currently lives in California’s Sacramento Valley. His writing can be found in American Short Fiction, Indiana Review, Literary Hub, Chicago Review of Books, Split Lip Magazine, Brooklyn Rail, and elsewhere.
